POSTAL DELAYS
Timeframes for order processing and delivery, including An Post guidelines, are clearly set out on the Shipping & Delivery page and in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
The Sample Cellar cannot be held responsible for postal delays.
An Post are usually reliable however, this has not always been the case since November/December 2025 unfortunately. Delivery times are unpredictable and entirely beyond my control. An Post advise that this is simply due to volume and they are overwhelmed. They also advise that UK customs and Royal Mail are experiencing similar issues.
If you have received a shipping confirmation email, rest assured that your order has been handed over to An Post on that date. Thereafter, I am relying on An Post as much as you are. Whilst I apologise for any inconvenience caused, I am completely at the mercy of the postal services.
THERE IS NO TRACKING AVAILABLE ON STANDARD POST.
Tracked post options are available at checkout for an extra cost. If you have selected a tracked post option, your tracking number will be included in your shipping confirmation email.
Abuse regarding delayed packages via emails, DMs on social media etc. will not be tolerated.
